I am a writer and translator from Swedish, German and Norwegian into English. A self-confessed language nerd, I know that a text is more than just the words on the page: it represents the interplay between languages, cultures and practices. I am interested in the sheer variety of human voices, as well as writing which shows human life situated in and as a part of the landscape around it.

I am active member of SELTA and both contribute to and run the social media for the journal Swedish Book Review. Living in a mountainous part of the world and spending a lot of time outdoors has also led me to becoming a qualified ski instructor. I like to think that this, alongside my interest in making images, feeds back into my other activities like some mysterious, creative web.
